The Art Mine offers 1-6 month independent studio Residencies
year-round for up to 2 artists per month. Residents receive private
studio space rent-free for up to 6 months (accessible 24 hours a day).
In return we ask that they will be available to the community in one of the following
ways: public studio talks, formal lectures, open studio tours, or teaching
workshops.

Who Can Apply
This is a work-only program. Resident artists are responsible for their
own living arrangements. Currently the studio is best suited drawing,
painting and hand building. Efforts will be made in collaboration with
associate organizations for special projects or needs.
How to Apply
Applicants are reviewed on a rolling, space-available basis. Admission
is based on a review of each applicant's portfolio and supporting material.
Residents are selected on merit, without regard to financial considerations.

Letter of intent.
Include desired length of stay and why the residency would be important
to your studio practice.
15-20 examples of your most recent visual work.

List three authorities in your field who know you and are familiar
with your work.
